I've called Woodbury home for 25 years. My wife and I built our life here, and we love what makes this city special — the green spaces, the amenities, and the pride residents take in where they live.

I began my career as an auditor. I earned my degree in accounting, my Certified Internal Auditor designation, and passed the CPA exam, then spent nearly a decade in auditing and controls consulting. Auditors are trained to follow the money, ask hard questions, and catch waste before it gets expensive. That instinct has never left me — and Woodbury needs it now. Residents keep asking a fair question: with all this commercial development, why do our tax bills keep climbing? They deserve a straight answer, and I know how to find it.

My MBA brought me to 3M, where I spent more than two decades in strategy and operations leadership — setting direction under real constraints, managing budgets, and answering for results. Those are the same disciplines a city asks of its Mayor. I've also served as board president of History Theatre, a nearly 50-year-old, 575-seat theatre in St. Paul, where I still serve on the board.

I'm running because too many residents have told the city the same thing: decisions feel like they're made before you walk into the room. I believe meetings should matter. I believe that before asking residents for more, the city should take a hard look at whether its spending serves the people who live here — or simply underwrites infrastructure for new commercial development, leaving residents holding the maintenance bill for decades. And growth should never outrun the water systems our families depend on. After 25 years here, I want to bring the discipline of my career to City Hall — and put residents first.
